Erith and Thamesmead is my home and where my family live. I’ve served the community as a councillor in Erith and have a strong track record of standing up for local people.
During my time as a local councillor I campaigned passionately for more genuinely affordable housing, better parking for residents and also to keep our fire engines in Erith. Now I want to take the fight to Westminster. I would be honoured to be the next Labour Member of Parliament for Erith and Thamesmead and if elected on 12th December, I will be a strong and positive voice for our community.
My Pledges to you:
TRANSPORT: I will campaign to bring the DLR to Thamesmead and maximise the impact of Crossrail.
HOUSING: I will use my social housing expertise to bring genuinely affordable social housing to the area.
POLICING: I will fight to increase policing, tackle knife crime and anti-social behaviour in Erith and Thamesmead.
ENVIRONMENT: I will champion a Green New Deal to build an environmentally sustainable society.
NHS: I will fight to protect our NHS. A Labour Government will scrap prescription charges and hospital car park charges.
