Over recent years, I’ve been so pleased by the continued enthusiasm for my annual Christmas Card Competition. I’m constantly impressed by the number of entries we receive and the creativity shown by young students and artists from across our constituency.

There is a new theme each year and entries are usually accompanied by a few sentences explaining why they chose to draw their design. The artwork is then assessed by a panel of judges and the winning design is used as my Christmas Card, which is sent to more than 1,000 local people and groups each year.
