This report explores the ways in which COVID-19 is disproportionately impacting people who meet one more protected characteristic.

The report draws on experiences of constituents and organisations in Erith and Thamesmead as well as data relating to COVID-19 impacts. It makes several recommendations and calls on the Government to take immediate action to address the issues highlighted throughout. COVID-19 is an ongoing public health crisis and the UK is also experiencing the worst recession on record. The report highlights long-term negative impacts on protected characteristics if social and political inequalities remain unaddressed.
